It’s November, which means were are attempting our very own #30DayChallenge. 30 Days, 30 Challenges. This is our first ‘weekly’ check in, as we find out how we are getting on.

I will preface this post with a ‘warning’, although I guess it’s more of a content warning. The following post will contain descriptions that are certainly NSFW, so don’t say I didn’t warn you! If you want a little reminder on what the #30DayChallenge is, and why I am doing it, you can read about that back here. For now, let’s get started and find out how we got on during the first 5 days…

1st November 2017

Not going to lie, I was a smidgen disappointed that the first one we pick is a very vague one, but that’s the risk of the jar of mysteries! But it’s fine, he had all day to decide what he was going to do. He headed off for work, whilst I finished getting myself dressed, as I too needed to head out of the door for my morning shift.

It was delivery day at work, so it was VERY busy. I was feeling a little poorly from the previous days 13 hour shift, but I was only on until 12:30, so I just had to plow through. I left work as I normally do, and headed home. At around 12:45pm, as I was about to make my exit from the roundabout, there was a sudden flash from my passenger side window. There was suddenly a loud bang, and the next thing I knew, my car was facing the oncoming traffic. I sat there in a complete daze, unaware of exactly what had just happened. All I remember is not being able to breathe properly, and felt an intense tingling sensation throughout my arms, legs, neck and head. As I looked through the windscreen at the crumpled mess that was the bonnet of my car, I realised what had happened.

I was hit by a driver who approached the roundabout in excess of 70mph, and clipped the front of my car. There was no way I could have avoided it. Thankfully, there were police on the scene almost immediately, and there were people outside my car, talking to me, comforting me as they could see I was visibly very shaken. When I could, I was able to call David, to tell him, and he immediately began the journey home from London. Despite feeling physically fine, the paramedics insisted taking me to the hospital, due to the speed at which my vehicle was hit. So I had my first ride in the back of an ambulance. I was led to an observation cubicle with a police officer, who had come to take my statement. David arrived in the middle, and the officer stepped outside so we could have a few moments.

In the evening, I ran myself a nice hot bath and had a good soak. Of all the habitual routines I have, my evening bath is something I could not be without. Yes, you read that correctly. Today’s review features an alien cyborg dick (how else am I going to start off a Monday?). We’re back with another round of reviews for german Kink retailer, MEO.

Now, I want to address the obvious elephant in the room right off the bat. After receiving this for review, an eagle-eyed follower noted that this dildo is very similar to a dildo put out by fantasy toy makers ‘Bad Dragon‘. When looked at side by side, it’s obvious where the similarities lie. They both feature a ‘plated’ design with ‘rivet’ detailing (which appears almost to be in identical positions). It’s not 100% the same, but I can see the obvious inspiration. The biggest difference really, are the dimensions; the small ‘Flint’ is still much bigger than the ‘Cyborg’. The curve in the shaft is also more prominent in the ‘Flint’ than in the ‘Cyborg’.

What this most likely is, a white label dildo manufactured in Asia, then sold wholesale to a retailer for them to brand themselves. This is a practice that I see happening a LOT with larger retailers, it’s not a situation unique to MEO. When I chose the product for review, I wasn’t aware of the similarities until it arrived. I’ve still agreed to review, but I wanted to mention this right at the beginning.

It’s been a long time since we’ve reviewed anything for MEO, and the Cyborg Exploration Cock leapt out at me as I was browsing the site. It ticked a few of my boxes; it was realistic, textured and quirky. I asked to review it, and a few days later, MEO delivered a little box of goodies, and this was inside and I was very excited. So let’s not waste any further time, and dive right in.

First Impressions

The Cyborg Exploration Cock is a silicone dildo, that’s designed to look part-human, part-robot; the shaft does indeed look somewhat human towards the base, and then features plates augmented onto the shaft towards the tip. It has a slight ‘retracted’ look right at the tip and features a little frenulum and urethral detail. The plates are decorated with ‘rivets’, and just under the tip, there are some more rivet details. It’s definitely a highly-textured dildo.

It stands at 7 inches tall, and has an insertable length of 5.5 inches. It has a circumference of 5.5 inches around it’s widest point, and 4 inches at it’s narrowest point towards the tip. The silicone is firm, but flexible. It has a slight drag too it; almost similar to the silicone Fun Factory use in their products.

The dildo arrives in just an MEO branded plastic bag. It doesn’t scream luxury, but the bag is sealed, ensuring hygiene upon arrival. It has a sturdy suction cup base, allowing it to be used hands-free and would be (potentially) harness compatible as well. So let’s get down to how it feels…

In Use

Well, in a word, AMAZING. I’m sorry, but knock-off or not, this dildo felt GOOD. The first time I took it out for a test drive, I was in the middle of reviewing some other toys, and when they were getting me nowhere, I decided to take a break. As I was on my way to the bathroom, the Cyborg Cock caught my eye. I was almost certain it possibly even shouted my name. I’ve been doing this too long… Still, I couldn’t ignore it; so I picked it up and took it into the bathroom.

I slapped the Cyborg to the tiled wall and got into position. I pressed myself against it, and as I was a little warmed up from earlier, it slipped in surprisingly easy. As I lowered myself further onto it, I could feel my knees tremble as I felt each plate slip past my sphincter. The texture was VERY obvious and it felt WONDERFUL. Before I knew it, I was pressing up right against the wall. I took a few moments to relax and enjoy the mild feeling of fullness before I began to ride it.

The texture was intense, so I had to take it slow, but it was worth it. I had half expected it to feel really rough (I still have the memory of the Icicles Tentacle in my head) so I was pleasantly surprised. As I began to really enjoy the ride, a wicked thought entered my head. I’ve never done it before… and it’s only for me (maybe the Mr if he’s lucky *winky face*). Of course, if I was to buy a ‘Flint’, I would also have to pay customs and import fees, which starts to add up… Of course, this doesn’t make it right; but I needed to justify to myself why I loved this knock-off so much. And I do. I really really do. And I am sorry.

Clean-up and Maintenance

The Cyborg Exploration Cock is easy to maintain; boil it, bleach it, rinse it or toss it in the dishwasher. The silicone, as I mentioned earlier, has a bit of drag. This also means it’s an absolute dust magnet as well, so I could recommend a little storage back or something in between uses to try and keep it as lint free as possible (although in a house with two pugs, this just feels like an exercise in futility).

Summary

It’s been a long time since anything I’ve reviewed has been a solid ten. It meets all of my requirements, and personally, I loved it. It’s currently one of my favourites (that isn’t a dual-density). If you are someone who doesn’t mind semi-realistic cocks with lots of texture, then the Cyborg could be your new best friend. If you’ve been toying with getting a fantasy dildo but still aren’t sure where to start? The Cyborg is worthy of a punt. It’s affordable and fun. It’s suction cup is strong and sturdy, and the detailing is spot-on. The texture is the real star of the show, and felt incredible when used anally.

What I will say though, is it has given me an urge to actually seek out a ‘Flint’ at some point; I just want to put a cum-tube in it, so I could then pump it full of the Formula X Anal Injection Lube for some serious role-play fun. Perhaps that’s something for the 2018 wishlist? Watch this space…

It’s double bill review day today! When this item arrived in the post, along with a bundle of other goodies from MEO; I really wasn’t quite sure what to say. I thought, for a second, there had been a mistake.

“Why have they sent me a bottle of engine oil?” I first exclaimed when I picked up the bottle out of the packaging. As I turned it over and looked at the label on the front, the penny dropped. ‘Ah’ I muttered. This shouldn’t have been surprising really, but this is what happens when you are only getting an hours sleep a night. Well played, MEO… Well Played. Anyway, I digress…

The bottle I held in my hand was not, as I first suspected, a bottle of engine oil. Formula X Anal Injection Lube (to give it it’s full name) is a hybrid lubricant that features the look and feel of, well… yeah, engine oil! It’s also MASSIVE. This is a full litre bottle of lubricant. I’ve never owned a bottle this big. I’m not even sure I could get through that much lube so quickly. But we can at last have a lot of fun trying…

First Impressions

I’ll start by quoting the label:

Formula X Hybrid lubricates not only your ‘piston’! A whole litre of lubricant with the look and feel of engine oil for gang bangs, oil wresting, massages, fisting, anal and vaginal intercourse. The amber hybrid lubricant FORMULA X looks like engine oil from the workshop and feels like oil, but is a refined mix of water and silicone-based anti-friction lubricant gel; combining the best advantages of both products. It is rich. long-lasting and lubricates like silicone, but is also caring as as easy to wash off as water-based lubricant cream. FORMULA X is condom-compatible, oil and greaser-free, breathable, odourless and tasteless.

So yeah, there you have it. I do appreciate a good hybrid lube, and the last hybrid lube we tried from MEO ticked all the boxes, despite it’s erm, unusual name. So the bottle indeed looks like something you’d find in the BP garage, but it features a slightly greasy twink on the front. Aside from that, the packaging is quite… well, i’d hate to say discreet but like, if I saw this lying around somewhere; I probably wouldn’t give it a second glance (although do many people keep engine oil in the bedroom?).

The lube is quite thick, and features glycerine and propylene glycol. I’ve never experienced any sensitivities to these ingredients when used anally, but I would always express caution when using vaginally. I cannot comment on it’s use for fisting or wrestling, but it has been used with a lot of sex toys and during sex, so that will be the main focus.

In Use

Formula X Anal Injection Lube doesn’t come with a pump or any kind of applicator. Not a problem if you are going to use it for wresting or gang bangs (biker bukkake fantasy, maybe?) but for careful application for sex and masturbation, it’s a little bit of an issue. I had to purchase a cheap pump dispenser to decant some of the product into, just so I can use it. Although, to be fair, it’s actually been nice having a pump dispenser of lube on the side of the bed that doesn’t really look like lube… so I suppose it’s not the end of the world. But I would love it, if in future, the bottles could at least be packaged with an optional pump top, or even like, a syringe type applicator. Anyway, onto the lube itself…

With Sex Toys

So I usedFormula X Anal Injection Lube with several sex toys (mostly insertable silicone toys and a few masturbator sleeves). The lube has a decently thick consistency meaning it applied relatively mess-free. It feels slick, and allowed for easy and comfortable insertion of a whole range of dildos and plugs. It stayed slippery for ages, and from what I recall, I never needed to reapply (especially as a little bit of saliva made things slick when things did start to dry out a little).

When it came to cleaning, it washed off the toys with minimal effort, and didn’t leave behind any residues, and it did not cause any problems with any of the silicone toys that I used with it. So for use with toys, it definitely does what is required and I can’t be mad at that.

During Sex and Masturbation

Used just in the hand for masturbation,Formula X Anal Injection Lube again, works pretty well. After about 20 minutes, the formula did start to dry out and get a little bit sticky (which is always one of my issues with standard water-based lubricants), but a little saliva once again reactivated the lube, and it was pleasantly slippery again.

During sex, the silicone allows for smooth entry. We were able to enjoy a full session without having to reapply any more. When were finished, it rinsed away very easily (which is where silicone lube falls down). It performed well, and allowed for comfortable penetrative sex. Again, that’s all that I really require from my lube, so another thumbs up.

So is there anything to complain about? Well, honestly, I am finding it difficult to find something about this lube that I didn’t like. I guess, the only problem I have with the lube is the colour. It’s not overly appealing to me, but that could be because, I don’t know; i’ve never thought engine oil was arousing! But I understand, if it was a different colour, it would ruin the overall effect and point of the product; so that’s just my cross to bear.

Summary

Does it work as a lubricant for sex and masturbation? Yes, it does and I have to say, extremely well. The concept is pretty clever, if you are into some sort of mechanic fantasy (and you know, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that). As I mentioned earlier, I just wish it came with an optional pump dispenser to allow for easier application. As for the odourless and tasteless claims, there is definitely a scent. It’s not very strong; and it feels like a ‘generic lube smell’. As for tasteless, there’s a mild moment of bitterness but it doesn’t last very long (unlike the lube itself!).

If you don’t mind buying in bulk, or you are a regular heavy player, then the Formula X Anal Injection Lube could be a big hit. For me, I wish the Cyborg Cock had a cum-tube so I could use this with it for some squirty fun…

Curiosity killed the cat, so they say. Well in this case, curiosity killed my boner. It was awful. Sometimes, you see a toy and think “Ooh, that sounds like it could be interesting” and then once it’s really happening… oh boy..

First Impressions

For Pipedream, the PDX Elite packaging is fairly innocuous. No alarming misogyny or casual racism here. For them, it’s quite simple and casual. I am a little bit shocked, to be honest. Inside the box, you get the Roto Sucker, 3 Silicone Cock Rings, some ‘Moist’ lube (you can throw this out) and some ‘Toy Cleaner’ (you can throw this out too).

So what does the Roto Sucker do? Well, it features an open silicone ‘mouth’, which quite frankly, looks like some sort of alarming space worm. Inside the worms mouth, there is a vibrating bullet, designed to focus on the sensitive underside of the penis. It also features a ‘vacuum’ which is supposed to create intense levels of suction. You can use the functions together or independently. You will need 2 x AAA batteries (not included). The head is made from silicone, which is a plus, although a rather small one. The head also is flexible and swivels, although I have as yet, discovered what function this actually serves.

In Use

It’s rare that a toy has frustrated me, to the point that I want to throw it against a brick wall. But this one did. It’s also extremely rare that a masturbator has be doubting my ‘girth’ and general size. But this one did. It’s just such a clusterfuck that once i’m done with this review, this will never see the light of day again. It is going to join the sex toy graveyard deep in the attic. So let’s kick things off with some plus points. They are easier to write.

Firstly, it’s incredibly light and easy to hold. The body is made from plastic with smooth, velvet-like finish (correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it to be PU-coated? is that what it is?). The head is made from silicone, meaning it is completely body safe and easy to clean. Unfortunately, that’s where the good stuff ends.

I was keen to try out the vibration function first, as my penis responds VERY well to vibratory stimulation. Not in this case. The bullet is small, and provides only a small amount of lacklustre vibration. It’s buzzy, shallow and doesn’t quite hit the right spot on it’s own. You need to squeeze the head, in order to allow maximum vibration contact. In order to get any sort of reaction to this sensation, I would have needed to stroke with the toy, but this isn’t really a ‘stroking’ toy. So right off the bat, I was already pissed off. Maybe the vacuum function would redeem it.

Sadly, in my case, not at all. Now, I’ve always believe that I have a fairly ‘average’ penis; 6 inches in length with a reasonable 5.5 inch circumference; you know, it’s enough for me. In the case of the Roto Sucker, no matter how hard I was, I wasn’t quite able to get a tight enough seal, in order to allow the suction to work properly. We got a sort of, tickle, but it never held for too long, and it was quite easy to break the seal. After a few moments of trying various things, I literally threw it down on the bed and shouted ‘ENOUGH!’.

Thankfully, we do have a second penis in the house, and my MR picked it up, ready to give it a try himself. It doesn’t come with a storage bag, but as it’s silicone and plastic, it can be stored with other toys without issue.

1. The vibrations are incredibly weak and seem almost incidental. The patterns are generic, and it starts out on it’s highest setting and then goes DOWN rather than up. I hate toys that do that.
2. The vacuum seems to be only successful if you are quite round and have a circumference of around 6 inches plus. Any less than that, and you just cannot get a decent seal for the suction to work.
3. The included lube and toy cleaner are absolute garbage. Please dispose of and use something better.

The cock rings are a nice little touch. They aren’t anything amazing, but they offer three sizes and they are also made from silicone. Deep down, I did really want to like this toy. And I honestly gave it my best… PDX Elite? Hmmmm… Maybe it’s time for another rebrand.

First Impressions

When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the very small, compact packaging. A simple brown box with the Mantric logo printed on the top. The only way you would know what is inside the box, as the sticker plastered over the flap (keeping it sealed) that told you what was inside. Once you slice through the sticker and lift it open, you’ll find the Masturbator nestled in some foam, along with the USB cable and a small operational manual. It’s very simple, basic but it does the job.

The Head Masturbator is fully waterproof, rechargeable and made from silicone. It features 5 modes of vibration. Inside the chamber, it’s ribbed for enhanced pleasure. It has an internal length of 3 inches. It’s lightweight and fairly easy to hold, and has a simple geometric design all over the outside of the toy. 100 minutes of charge time should give you around 90 minutes of play time. The vibrations are situated in a small ‘hump’, which should provide intense stimulation to the frenulum in use.

In Use

Up until trying to use it, I was very impressed with the overall look and feel of the Head Masturbator. It felt light, but not flimsy; so it doesn’t feel too much like a ‘cheap’ toy; and based on the £49.99 price tag, I would say it does look and feel like a mid-range toy. It’s not high-end, but it’s not cheap either. I applaud the fact it’s made from silicone (more masturbators from silicone, please!) and the vibrations seemed to be fairly decent – rumbly, if not very strong. I was genuinely quite excited to try it.

So imagine my complete and utter disappointment when I discovered I simply could not use the thing at all. I get very conscious and upset when a toy has me questioning the size of my own penis; and this is another one of those toys that made me go… ‘WTF?’. Only on this occasion, I can say that I was far too BIG for the toy… some people might see that as a plus, but to me, it’s a frustration.

When I first went to use the toy, I got myself fully erect and coated myself with lube, and added a squirt inside for good measure too. As I went to slip it over the head of my penis, I was met with pain, resistance and a mess of lube. Try as I might, I just could not get the tip of my penis into the toy. It was just not happening. I tried extra lube, I tried going slowly, I tried jamming my poor member in… it was going nowhere. I almost let out a howl of frustration.

My husband sensed my distress, and took it from me to have a go himself. The story is pretty much the same with him. “Well what is the point of that?” he said, as he threw it back down onto the bed. I decided that was enough torture for one night. We’ll return to it another day, I thought to myself. I’ll try something different…

So the next time I grabbed the Head Masturbator, I decided this time to go in soft, to see whether this worked better. And to some extent, it did. As the Head Masturbator is fully waterproof, clean-up is an absolute doddle. A good rinse and wipe with a damp cloth is all you need. Once finished, you can just pop it back inside it’s box, ready for the next time you want to constrict your cock.

Summary

The Mantric range has a fairly decent selection of products, and most seemed to be rated fairly highly from other shoppers. I cannot fault the actual build quality of the Head Masturbator, and the vibrations themselves felt pretty decent (for what they were); it’s just, well it didn’t work as a sex toy. At least, not for me. My ‘average’ circumference of 5.5 inches was too big, so if you are of similar size, or bigger, this is definitely something to avoid. Smaller? Then this might be for you.

I’m not prepared to fully write off the Mantric range, but I am prepared to cast the USB Rechargeable Vibrating Head Masturbator into the sex toy desert (the attic), never to see the light of day again. You can’t win them all…

Another year has flown by. 2017 is now but a distant memory. At least, i’m trying my best to forget it! But seriously, 2017 was a year that was far more turbulent than I was expecting, so in the blog front, things were a bit lax last year…

The PULSE seems to make our ‘best of’ list every year, and it’s not really difficult to see why. I was curious to see how this would compare.

Hot Octopuss can certainly breathe a sigh of relief as the ELEMENT MS is a huge disappointment on all fronts.

First Impressions

When it arrivers, the ELEMENT MS is packaged fairly nicely. An outer sleeve hides a plain white box which is both sturdy and somewhat discreet. Inside the box you’ll find the toy, a USB mini cable with removable magnetic charging point and a small instruction leaflet. My initial reaction was ‘Holy shit, damn that’s small’. It’s certainly a lot smaller than I was expecting it to be. It’s about half the size of the PULSE and completely flexible.

The ELEMENT MS is made from silky body-safe silicone and is waterproof, USB rechargeable and features 4 patterns with 5 speeds. The controls are simple and easy to use. The wings of the ELEMENT MS are stretchy, so should stretch to accommodate most sizes.

In Use

The ELEMENT MS needs around an 8 hour charge (at least according to the manual it does). I really hate toys that require such a long charge time. So after 2 hours of charging, I yanked it off the cable to give it a try. To switch it on, simply press the plus (+) button for 1.5 seconds to turn it on. Subsequent presses will increase the speed (of which there are 5). To change the pattern, there is a separate button which will cycle you through the four patterns: Constant, Thrum (rapid wave of escalating vibration), Oscillate (slow wave of escalating vibration) and Ripple (intense pulsing with vibration peaks).

The ELEMENT MS has a small vibrating bullet, which should come into contact with the frenulum when you slip inside. There is a series of ribs to provide additional sensation, and the wings (dependent on how thick you are) can close around the shaft. I thought it’s smaller size might be an issue, but actually it is surprisingly comfortable to hold (although it can get a bit tricky if you have got lube on your hand).

I slipped myself into position, and turned it on. Wow. I was expecting a symphony of vibrations to rock my frenulum into orgasmic submission. What I actually got was… nothing. Not a single vibration was felt through little hump at the tip. Such a disappointment. The vibrations seemed to be focused more in the wings, than they did anywhere else. The vibrations are mild (buzzy and slightly strong, but still a tad underwhelming). As I stroked and squeezed the ELEMENT MS tighter, I got more and more frustrated that the vibrations were just not being felt in all the right places.

No matter what way round I held the device, it just didn’t feel good. So initially I put this down to the fact I hadn’t let it go through it’s full 8 hour charge. So I popped it back onto charge and left it overnight. On the second attempt, I was expecting to be pleasantly surprised.. and sadly, I was not. The additional charge time did nothing to improve on the power. I grew tired of it so quickly. Not once did it make me orgasm. Even my husband got frustrated with it. Unlike the PULSE, it just doesn’t put the vibrations in any place for it to feel good. An absolute waste.

Clean-up and Maintenance

The ELEMENT MS is completely waterproof, so cleaning is simple and easy. The silicone is a dust and hair magnet, so storage inside it’s box is probably recommended (unless you have spare bags around!).

Summary

They say that ‘Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’. In this instance, I would be offended. It tries to be the PULSE but it fails on almost every level. It maybe cheaper and smaller, but those aren’t necessarily good things. The only way I could even positively suggest this to someone, is if you’ve never tried a vibrating masturbator before, and don’t want to drop the cash on something until you know you like it. Even then, I think you would be better off just splurging on the best right away.

Sex Tech has come along way over the past few years. The rise of VR content has driven a new wave of powered masturbators, to provide that next level of thrill and realism.

Or was a left with a corrupted floppy disk? Well, there’s only one way to find out…

First Impressions

The packaging for the SenseTube is very nicely thought out. Its a solid white box with some blurbs and a picture of the toy. The thing doesn’t really look like a sex toy. It looks like some sort of expensive accessory you might find in an Apple store. To me, it kind of looks like it’s some sort of bluetooth audio device; so for discretion? I have to give a thumbs up to SenseMax. The only real clue it’s a sex toy, is the list of white text on the very back of the box, but even then, it’s still very cryptic.

Inside the box is the SenseTube, a magnetic USB charging cable and there possibly might have been a little instruction leaflet (but unfortunately between receiving, testing and christmas, I haven’t been able to locate one, so I can’t remember!). The SenseTube itself has a silicone exterior which is soft, allowing you to squeeze the sides of the case to control tightness. The sleeve is removable and made from TPE (and feels similar to TENGA TPE). The charging and drying base is made from ABS plastic. The SenseTube is waterproof, and is charged via a magnetic USB cable. A 2.5 hour charge should give around 2 hours of playtime.

There is an app available for both Android and iOS (SensePlayer) and there is a website (SenseLovers) where you can download and view compatible video content.

In Use

The SenseTube can be used in 2 ways; you are of course, free to enjoy the SenseTube as a standalone luxury masturbator. The toy has 5 different vibrating modes, with 18 (yes, 18) speeds a piece. Simply turn it on, and you can use the buttons on the side to increase/decrease speed or scroll through the 5 patterns. Alternatively, you can connect your SenseTube to your mobile device using the SensePlayer app, and if you have the VR headset (sold separately), you can watch and interact with their curated VR content. Alternatively, you are able to just watch videos, but still have the SenseTube ‘interact’ with the action on screen.

Using the SenseTube Solo

Using the SenseTube on it’s own is a standard masturbation experience. Lube up, slip inside, switch on the vibrations and stroke. There’s not really much else to it. After coating myself and the inside of the sleeve with a good splash of water-based lubricant, I began to slip inside. This was where I encountered my first little ‘issue’.

As I began to insert myself, the sleeve was trying to push itself down into the silicone casing. I had to stop, reach in with my fingers to fish it out and then try again. The same thing happened again. On the third attempt, I pulled the sleeve out slightly, and then slipped in. At last, the sleeve was now properly aligned and I was inside. The sleeve has a mild texture; it’s just a series of ribs running along the length of the canal. It feels… nice. It’s not overwhelming, it’s just… nice. I enjoyed a few strokes, just so I could feel the texture of the sleeve on it’s own. The sleeve has a decent amount of tightness, so it does feel like it’s gripping you fairly tightly. I can’t really say I felt much of the texture, but it didn’t feel wholly unpleasant.

By now I was ‘raring’ to go, and I wanted to turn on the vibrations. Pressing the plus (+) button switches the SenseTube onto the first (constant) vibration. Subsequent presses will increase the speed. When I first turned it on, the vibrations in the case were strong and moderately rumbly. On it’s top speed, the vibrations could be felt all around the casing. But for some reason, I just could not feel them inside the sleeve. The sleeve was dampening the vibrations quite significantly. I squeezed the sides of the case to try and increase the sensation, but nothing. I just wasn’t really getting any major vibration stimulation from the sleeve at all.

I put it down to having a bad day, so I put the SenseTube aside, and decided I would come back to it another day. The next time I took it out for a spin, I had my husband with me, and we decided we would both give it a try. I was definitely in a state of arousal, so I reached for the SenseTube and plunged inside. On this try, the textured sleeve felt a little better, and on it’s own, it probably would have given me a fairly satisfactory orgasm. But I have plenty of ‘manual’ strokers; the vibration is the big draw here. So I turned it on and got ready to rock and roll.

Once again, the vibrations that were rocking the outside of the case, were not doing their job of rocking my casbah. There was the teensiest bit of sensation felt, but it felt more like a distant afterthought. Now, i’m not hung like a porn star, but i’m also no shrinking violet either. I’m an average guy of average girth. My issue here, is that the vibrations seem to be focused right at the very bottom, and then they spread down and out. Unfortunately, i’m just shy of reaching the point where the vibrations are at their strongest. And this upsets me, because I would imagine could I reach and feel that point, this might be a whole new story. My husband agreed. He said the textured sleeve on it’s own was ‘alright’ and ‘nothing special’, but also lamented the surprising lack of vibration sensation.

Using the SenseTube with VR/Interactive Content

OK, so this paragraph is a bit misleading, because unfortunately, I wasn’t able to test out the SenseTube with VR or Interactive content. But I still think it’s important to bring it up. Firstly, the VR headset is sold separately (and you know, i’m not going to go out and buy a VR headset just so I can write a review). Secondly, the actual content that is available is very… limited. At least, from what I could see upon my initial investigation.

After signing up using the SensePlayer app, I connected to their suggested site (https://www.senselovers.com/resource) and checked out the content. The only video content I could find available were POV VR videos, that all featured cishet models. I couldn’t see a search option, or any option for just standard 2D interactive content. I couldn’t see any gay/bi/trans content or anything. It’s a real shame that their isn’t a more diverse range of content available, and at the time of writing, I hadn’t been able to locate any compatible content from third-party sites either. In 2018, I would like companies realise that the audience for your products is going to be wider than ‘cis hetero males’. There are a whole world of penis owners, who enjoy different things. More diverse and inclusive content is an absolute MUST.

Clean-up and Maintenance

The SenseTube is completely waterproof, and the sleeve removes for easy cleaning. The outside case can be rinsed or wiped over with a damp cloth (depends how, er, messy you’ve been!) but the sleeve can be thoroughly rinsed and turned inside out to allow for proper fluid removal. The sleeve will not need treating once it’s dry; it returns to it’s original slightly silky feel on it’s own. The plastic base that acts as a charging stand, also doubles up as a dryer (it has tiny air holes at the bottom). It works surprisingly well here (as the internal tube is also hollow, allowing air to circulate). Once dry, I can store it safely back in its sturdy box.

Summary

So the main question is, is the SenseTube worth a splurge? Honestly, for me, I would have to say no, but not because it’s a terrible product. In all honesty, the actual device is very well made, handles very well and the standard textured sleeve is not bad. My issues are with the vibrations and the lack of diverse content available. If I was to suggest some improvements to the SenseTube, they would be as follows:

1. Consider adding an additional vibrating element towards the centre and base of the toy. Make that whole side vibrate. That way, no matter how long or short your penis is, you should feel some vibrations. The additional vibrating elements should also improve the overall sensation throughout the sleeve as well.
2. The sleeve itself needs a wider, sturdier rim, to stop it from disappearing into the case when you try to enter.
3. MORE Content. I would love to see the SenseLovers site include more videos that would cater to a wider audience. I wanna see me some gay porn there!

Wow, it’s been 6 whole months since our last proper ‘Sexy Thoughts’ post. I sometimes wonder why I actually write them, as I’m sure nobody reads them, or are interested in them. But then I remember that some of the time, I just want to write for me.

As the review is certainly long overdue, let’s just get straight down to it, shall we?

First Impressions

As I mentioned in the intro, I do enjoy a bit of stainless steel. So when the offer to review this was presented, I of course couldn’t say no. It’s been a long time since we’ve reviewed something like this. When it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the weight. This is definitely not a lightweight toy (as it should be!). The packaging is simple, but does feel quite luxurious. The dildo is housed in a purple storage box, which is filled with foam, keeping the dildo safe and secure in between uses. If you took off the outer slip cover and maybe wrapped a little ribbon around it, it would be the perfect gift (if you like buying sex toys as presents).

So the dildo comes in at 8 inches of overall length. At the curved end of the dildo, it has an insertable length of 4.5 inches. Around the bulbous tip, it has a maximum circumference of 3.25 inches. On the other end, shaft starts with a minimum circumference of 3.25 inches, up to a maximum of 3.6 inches. The rippled end has an insertable length of 3 inches. The dildo weighs in at 620g. The finish is smooth, shiny and there is no discernible metallic smell.

In Use

According to the Lovehoney website, it recommends only using the slim, curved end for anal play, and I would have to agree. The base is flared enough that I feel comfortable that it won’t go walkabouts during play, whereas the other end has no sizeable flare, so in the heat of the moment, it could become an awkward trip to the A&E (or ER, dependent on where you are!) to get it removed.

The beauty of stainless steel, is you can experiment with temperature play. Right of the box, the dildo has a chilled surface, which when presented to your more sensitive areas, can create some rather interesting (if somewhat shocking) sensations. You can even place it in some warm water, so it’s a bit less of a shock to the system (and to be honest, it’s cold enough out there at the moment).

Well look, let’s get straight to the point? I like this. I liked it far more than I was expecting too. It’s a simple design, but in the right hands, it’s bloody effective. The curved end has an angle that’s perfect for stimulating my prostate. Using the other end as a handle, I can work the dildo around, and get some really pressure on my P-Spot. The firmness of the metal adds to the sensation, along with a slightly chilled tip. Although for me, it does work a lot better when it’s been warmed up.

Due to it’s size, the dildo is very easy to insert, and I found I only needed a small amount of lube was needed, to keep things nice and slippery. The manual suggests water-based lube, but personally a prefer a good hybrid for anal use. I tend to find things dry out quicker and can become more uncomfortable when I just use a pure water-based lube.

Laying on my back has been the best way of using this for me. I can insert the curved end (with the tip pointing up towards my belly button) and then use the ‘handle’ like a lever, to force the tip to exert more pressure on the sensitive spots. I can even lay there and use kegel motions to bring move the dildo, and this feels pretty good. But I definitely feel it the most when I am manually controlling how firm the pressure is. It doesn’t work every time; I have discovered that my prostate can have off days too, and now matter what I do, it just doesn’t respond in the way I want it too. But when it does… it’s like the 4th of July.

I’ve never owned a Pure Wand, which has been described as the holy grail for prostate stim. That maybe the case, but it’s also pretty darn expensive. This is only £60. Yes, it’s still up there on the ‘pricey’ side, but Lovehoney regularly have offers going, so you can certainly pick this one up cheaper at some point.

My only niggle, is I wish the central ‘flange’ was just a bit bigger, as I would love to try out the rippled plug side, but I am just not comfortable with such a small flare, and I wouldn’t want to risk it. But it does work as a great handle for when using the other side, so if I pretend that that is it’s main purpose, then I don’t feel as bad…

Clean-up and Maintenance

Steel is so easy to look after. I use a simple soap and water to ensure the surface is completely clean, followed by a good rinse. Dry it off with a nice lint-free cloth and it will be shiny and polished again in no time. Once finished, I can pop it back in the box until next time.

Summary

I feel like i’ve rambled a lot during this review. The truth of the matter is, it’s a solid, sturdy dildo that feels great up the butt. If you are looking for something high quality for manual prostate stim, and don’t want to shell out for a Pure Wand, then this, I feel, is the second best thing. The size and shape should be suitable for most, although be aware, if you’ve never used steel before, do take it nice and slow. I wouldn’t want anyone to do themselves an injury.

There’s that old saying, about never judging a book by it’s cover. It means well, but honestly, we all do it. Sometimes, I receive a product for review, and there’s something about it (the packaging, for example) that makes me go ‘Ugh… this is going to be terrible’.

But the reality is, there have been plenty of times when the product has been packaged beautifully, and the actual toy itself has been an absolute garbage fire. So really, I do need to stop judging a product on it’s packaging. Because honestly, when I saw the box for the FemmeFun FIGO Vibrating Butt Plug, I laughed. It’s so… cheap looking. But once I took it out of the box and turned it on, I was prepared to eat my words.

First Impressions

So, let’s just get the obvious right out of the way. The box is terrible. It’s basic and features some horrendous Word ’97 looking WordArt on the front (that gradient, though). I don’t know, perhaps I am being a snob her, but I have become quite accustomed to a well thought out package, and whilst it does the job of storing and protecting the toy, it just does’t make me excited to use it. Can that be a thing? Does anybody else get that? (If you do, hit me up on twitter or in the comments below!).

Inside the box, you’ll find the FIGO nestled in a padded foam block. Underneath that, you’ll find the USB charging cable and a small manual. So far, so underwhelming. The FIGO is made from 100% silicone, and is waterproof. It has 20 vibration ‘modes’ and features a memory function (meaning it will remember what pattern it was on before you switched it off, so when you come back to it, it will continue). The FIGO has an insertable length of 4.25 inches, and has a circumference of 4 inches around the top, and 4.5 inches towards the base. The FIGO needs around 3 hours to charge, and this offers a full 1 hour of play time.

In Use

At this point, I was still skeptical. The plug is very lightweight and flexible, and honestly, I was expecting it to be weak as, or just very very buzzy. I’m happy to report that the FIGO is neither of those things. The FIGO is powered by the same motor found in the FemmeFun Ultra Bullet (of which I had read some very good things about). So when I turned it on for the first time, I was a little bit taken aback. I really had expected the worst, and now I feel awful for judging it so quickly. FIGO, I am truly sorry I didn’t give you the benefit of the doubt. Please forgive me?

Now, butt plugs are one of those things that don’t really feature too much in my bedroom play, just because usually I like to keep my options open (read into that what you will). But now and again, when i’m having a wank, I do like to have a little bit of extra stimulation, and sometimes a plug can give me that extra bit of ‘Oh yeah!’ to turn a boring solo session into something a bit more toe-curling. Now, in use, the FIGO didn’t completely blow me away, but it certainly wasn’t anything that left me hugely disappointed either.

The FIGO is at a size where for the most part, I can go straight in without any kind of a warm up. Just a good liberal coating of lube and then i’m ready to insert. The tip is quite bulbous however, and not very tapered, so those who are still starting out with butt play, may want to consider trying something smaller to start of with, before moving onto something like this. Once inserted, the bulbs to give me a nice little ‘popping’ sensation, and when it’s fully inserted, the T-Bar style base fits snuggly between the cheeks for comfort. The curves seem to rest in all the right places.

When you switch it on for the first time, the first 3 settings are your constant speeds (low, medium, high) and then the rest are a series of waves, pules, crescendo… all sorts. It did become a little difficult to differentiate between the patterns towards the end, and I honestly feel on something like this, 20 patterns is probably far too many (especially as ultimately, I tend to prefer the constant vibrations anyway). The FIGO is controlled by a button on the base, and it can be a little tricky to adjust once inserted. But I didn’t mind it so much because very rarely did I feel the need to change the pattern – my favourite setting is ‘HIGH’.

The vibrations are certainly rumbly, and even on the highest setting, they are only just on the cusp of buzzy; but they were rumbly enough to keep me satisfied. The vibrations are dispersed pretty evenly through the toy, with the entire insertable shaft trembling. The vibrations even travel through the T-Bar base, meaning that your perineum gets a little bit of a tickle. It’s not intense, but it’s definitely noticeable, if just deliciously subtle. The stem of the FIGO is flexible, which meant I could move around. sit and rock on it if I wanted too, with ease and it never felt uncomfortable. The tip was just about brushing my prostate, so as I sat and masturbated, it was enhancing the overall sensation.

Laying down, I could use kegal motions to move the plug, and again, it wasn’t anything mind-blowing, but it felt very nice and I definitely had a stronger orgasm with the plug in than without. As with toys like this, my only real critique, is I kind of wish it had a remote control. The plug was comfortable enough that I could have it inside, and then move about quite freely without concern of it popping out. So really, I would love to have worn the plug and gone out for a bit of a play. But as it doesn’t have a remote, it’s not really easy to do. It’s fairly quiet though, which is a good thing.

Clean-up and Maintenance

The FIGO is easy to clean; it’s silicone and waterproof, so you can give it a thoroughly good rinse under the tap with your chosen toy cleaner. The silicone, whilst smooth, is still a notorious dust magnet, so once it’s dry, I would recommend keeping it inside the box, or in a toy bag (if you have one) just to try and minimise the dust (and in our case, pug hair!).

Summary

The FIGO really did surprise me. It’s comfortable, made from body-safe materials and has a pretty decent motor inside. Those who like their butt plugs motorised will (hopefully) get on very well with this! After seeing the packaging and then playing with the toy, I feel the $80 price tag is a little bit more justifiable (although adding a storage bag would be a nice touch). I still stand by wishing it was remote controlled. If it was, I would have no hesitation giving this a solid top score. But I still think it’s a solid plug, and one that I think will see a bit more action in the future.

First Impressions

The Butters is an incredibly versatile product; it’s not just for personal lubrication! It can be used as a body moisturiser, a shaving cream, a make-up remover, a softening hair conditioner, a beard conditioner… just to name a few of the uses! So that immediately sets this apart from any other lubricant I have ever tried.

The Raw Honey X Cocoa Butter lubricant is made from all natural ingredients (Aloe Vera, Shea/Cocoa Butter, Grape Seed/Olive Oils, Honey, Arrowroot and Apple Cider Vinegar). In Use

The Butters definitely took a while to get used too. It is very different to any lube I have used before. Truth be told, it’s not my favourite lube, and I generally tend to not reach for it during sex/masturbation. But that’s not because it’s a bad lube. It just requires a bit more ‘effort’ to get it to work with me, and most of the time, I’m just impatient and reach for the sliquid as it’s easier.

For solo play (masturbation), the Butters does indeed create a decent about of slipperiness, but I honestly find in this instance, it just dries out far too quickly for me. I do have to regularly reapply, far more often than I would with a standard water-based lube. The upside here though, is I don’t feel ‘sticky’ like I do with regular lube. In fact, the skin on my shaft feels delightfully smooth and conditioned!

For use with toys, I found The Butters worked a bit better, especially with items made from glass and metal. Things stayed slicker for longer here, although reapplication was again, still necessary for me; but thankfully it was no more than I would have to normally apply when using a water-based lubricant for anal. I still believe that my silicone/hybrid lubes that I use do last a little bit longer than The Butters, and again, this is a personal preference, I do still prefer to use those.

When it comes to intercourse, again, the Butters does indeed work well for anal sex. I still get it drying out (as to be expected), but again, it’s not as quickly as with water-based lubes. I’ve also noted there has been less irritation (certain lubes can give me a sort of ‘burning’ sensation) but i’ve not experienced that with this. So this is the only reason I would really keep this around for anal sex. As for use with oral sex, The Butters doesn’t taste horrible. It does have a slightly buttery taste, and as this one has Honey inside, it does have a slight sweetness. However it can get a bit too much, and can leave the inside of your mouth feeling coated if ingested in large quantities. So I would definitely suggest going in sparingly if using during oral.

As a moisturiser, I love this. I can rub this over myself after a bath or shower, and it absorbs into my skin really easily, doesn’t leave a greasy residue and everything feels soft and smooth. The Butters doesn’t contain any synthetic scents, so the only scent you are getting is the sort of nutty scent from the cocoa butter, and perhaps a slight note of the vinegar. It’s certainly not unpleasant (at least, I don’t think it is), but if you are adverse to the slightly more natural scents of things like oils and butters, you may not get on well with it.

I have also used it as a make-up remover, and it did a really good job of removing stubborn waterproof eye make-up. I’ve even used a little bit in my beard as well to keep the hairs nice and soft. Personally, I can see myself using it more for this, rather than as a personal lubricant. The Butters is not compatible with latex, so that’s something to bear in mind as well.

Summary

It can be really hard to find a good lube, that’s safe for all orifices and isn’t filled with all sorts of synthetic and nasty chemicals. I applaud Jerome Stuart Nichols for creating a brand of natural products like this. There are certainly plenty of folks out there who have used this as a lubricant and have raved about it (you can read some of these here, here, here and here). For me, the ‘lubricant’ side of things didn’t always hit the right mark. It’s a good price point, it feels luxurious and is a multi-purpose product. It definitely deserves good marks. I just personally won’t be reaching for it the next time i’m in the bedroom. But it will be sitting on my dressing table, and will be getting regular use in other ways. So it’s not all bad.

First Impressions

So the biggest (or smallest?) thing to note about the Doxy Number 3 is it’s size. It’s far smaller than it’s predecessors. And that’s one of the things I was really excited about, for this version. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my original Doxy (and the beautiful Die Cast), but sometimes it can be a strain on the wrists because it’s quite large (and somewhat heavy). This promised all of the power, in a unit that was smaller and easier to hold.

The Doxy 3 is made from aluminium, giving it a lightweight body that’s shiny (but thankfully doesn’t show up the fingerprints!). Personally, it’s not as pretty looking as the die cast I have, but the cool metal finish does give the Doxy 3 a significant air of luxury to it. It’s a piece of kit that means business. The Doxy 3 clocks in at 11 inches in length, and weighs around 320g. The Die Cast is 15 inches in length and weighs in at 700g, so there is definitely a noticeable difference!

One of the new design features for the Doxy 3 is the removable silicone head. You can unscrew the cap, allowing for a thorough clean between uses. Also, in the future, Doxy are hoping to launch a range of attachments. As of yet, these are still in the design and testing phase, but hopefully we’ll see some of those soon.

The packaging of the Number 3 is an improvement over the original. The box is smaller, sleeker (but arguably it’s still quite big!). But if you removed the outer slip, the inner box does make a nice presentation box (and it will help keep the doxy nice and safe in between uses. It’s just not as nice as the case that came with the Die Cast.

In Use

Is it possible to truly fall in love with a toy? Where the thought of being away from it for whatever reason is almost painful? OK, so that’s a bit much, but I genuinely am so impressed and infatuated with the Doxy Number 3, that I find almost any excuse to look at it, touch it or shove it down my pants. When something works (and works well), you just have to go back for more. I’m almost prepared to say that this now my ultimate wand. Almost. We’re not quite there yet. But there isn’t that much to go.

For the most part, the Doxy Number 3 is used for penile/perineal stimulation on our house. Resting the vibrating head against the frenulum on the penis is enough to draw out a quick and satisfying orgasm. I even recently discovered that if I lie the Doxy on the bed, and position my shaft in such a way that I can lay down on the Doxy, it has me reaching squirtsville in almost seconds. That’s right, SECONDS. Thank goodness for things like the Liberator Throe, eh?

The smaller head of the wand allows for slightly more precise application of vibrations. For our purposes, it works in the favour of the Doxy. For those who like the idea of a wand vibrator, but aren’t sold on the broader vibrations, you might find the Doxy 3 could be better suited. But for me, the Doxy gets in there and draws that orgasm out of me, like the pied piper. I’ve yet to have a bad day with a Doxy.

Of course, the Doxy 3 functions extremely well as a regular massager as well; it’s smaller size allows to really focus the vibrations into all of those tight knots (it was a life saver over the Christmas period, let me tell you!). The silicone glides over the skim with relative ease, although a good splosh of lube or massage oil is still very much required, just to ensure the silicone doesn’t tug too much at the skin or any wayward back hair.

The Doxy 3 functions in the same way as the previous models. There are 3 brightly lid LED buttons (power, plus, minus). It also features the ‘hidden’ pulse mode, which is accessed by pressing and holding the power button down for a few seconds. The Doxy will then start pulsing, rather than kicking into it’s constant mode.

At this moment, I cannot say that this is the only wand massager I need; in it’s current configuration, it’s not compatible with my favourite masturbation cup attachments. I understand that Doxy would like to see a masturbator attachment for the Number 3, so hopefully, if that happens, then the Doxy Number 3 could soon be the only wand I need.

Let’s talk power. I know that’s probably what most of y’all want to know about. The short answer is, yes the Doxy Number 3 is indeed powerful. It’s almost as powerful as it’s full size counterpart. But I also feel it’s perhaps a touch buzzier than the original. I don’t know if it’s down to the size, or the new head that the Doxy 3 has; it just doesn’t feel like it quite picks up the same rumble the full size wand can. It’s not far off, but again, I do think it’s a noticeable difference. A difference that doesn’t really bother me too much, but might be a dealbreaker for some.

Clean-up and Maintenance

Like the original and die cast variants, the Doxy Number 3 is obviously not waterproof. But the new removable screw-cap silicone head allows for easy to clean-up. Just unscrew, rinse, dry and then scre it back on and you are good to go. The body of the wand can be cleaned with a toy wipe or a barely damp cloth. I hope that at some point in the future, Doxy consider (if they haven’t already) making a case for the Number 3, similar to the case they made for the Die Cast. I want to be able to keep it in pristine condition for as long as possible (although realistically, this is going to be plugged in next to my bed, along with the full size Die Cast).

Summary

Oh Doxy. My dear wonderful Doxy. You’ve done it again. I personally love everything about the Doxy Number 3. The smaller, lighter size means I can play with it for longer periods without getting any strain in my wrist. It offers pretty much the same amount of power as a full size Doxy, just perhaps not as rumbly (but still, very close). I think the make-up of the head (and the size) are contributing to that, and to be honest, it’s not unique to the Doxy. But it’s powerful, there is no doubt about that.

I hope we get to see some attachments soon, because with the right set, the Doxy Number 3 could become my go-to wand vibrator. I wouldn’t need anything else. The Doxy 3 could provide me with all I need. But for now, it is indeed very, very good. But i’m not quite prepared to part completely with my full size Doxy. And i’m not sure I ever well. But these two will be the bestest of bedfellows.

First Impressions

The packaging game for the Flip Zero EV has been improved. Unlike the original Zero, the EV arrives in a solid, sturdy box. I’ve often referred to TENGA has the ‘Apple’ of the sex toy world, and I still stand by this statement. It feels like i’m about to unbox and iPhone or something. As you lift up the lid, you’ll find the instruction manual, and underneath that… the beautiful EV. Like the original Zero, the EV is housed in a sturdy plastic case that looks a little like a bell jar. However, in this instance, that case is actually functional.

The base serves as the charging stand for the EV, allowing you to just pop it on the bedside table, and using the USB cable provided, charge up your EV whilst keeping it nice and clean. Once it’s charged, the case offers just about the coolest storage solution for a sex toy i’ve seen (or at least up until that point!). The lid stays on securely, and helps keep everything dust free in between uses.

The EV really is a feat of design. The EV charges via magnets, and at the base of the EV, there are little contact points. But the actual battery is in the removable slide arm that holds the device together. There is a magnetic strip which runs around the outside of the arm, which allows you to charge the device whilst it dries after cleaning. I have to say, I am honestly impressed at the engineering of the EV.

The texture inside the EV is different to the original Zero, and it now has the added benefit of not one, but TWO motors. The is a central vibration core, which is housed towards the opening of the EV, and then the deep vibration core which is located towards the tip. The texture is a series of ribs and flaps, that when the device is closed, wrap around the shaft and encompass it with vibrations. The EV is waterproof and a 90 minute charge should give around 40 minutes of play time.

In Use

After giving the EV a good charge, I was ready to give it a try. As usual, I tested this one on my own, before I let my husband anywhere near it. Partly because I wanted to make sure it worked, before I brought it out during a session, but also i’m a selfish jerk who just couldn’t wait. There, I said it. The EV does come with 2 sachets of HOLE Lotion, but honestly, I discard these because I just do not like the TENGA lube. Like, it’s not bad, it’s just I find it too sticky and I just don’t like it. I prefer to use Sliquid as it’s water-based, but doesn’t dry out too quickly.

As with the original Zero, you remove the slide arms, open up the EV and apply your lube of choice. Close it back up, slip the slide arms back on and then you are ready to party. As always, I wanted to give the EV a go without the vibrations, just to see how the new texture compared to the old one. So I lay back, lubed myself up as well, and then carefully, I edged my way deep into the squishy marshmallow canal of the EV.

Everything went pretty much as I expected. The texture didn’t really feel all that different from the original EV, and with material as soft as the elastomer inside the Flips, texture can sometimes be difficult to differentiate, but still, everything felt pleasurable. Squeezing the sides to implement the suction also created a delicious (if slurpy) effect that felt not too dissimilar to getting a good deep throat blow job. The noise is still hilariously distracting, but you get used to it, especially when it starts to feel so good, and things start to tingle.

I honestly would have orgasmed without the vibrations. Like the Zero, the texture of the EV feels like it’s massaging my shaft, and it just feels so good. But I was itching to try out the vibrations. The button to turn on the vibrating cores is at the opposite end of the EV, a big solid white button. Press and hold it for a couple of seconds and it will switch into it’s low mode. Subsequent presses will move you to the ‘High’ mode, followed by the Pulse mode, Alternating mode and then the Random mode. After I switched on the vibrations, things were a bit of a blur, but before i’d even had time to register what was happening, I exploded inside the EV and let out a bit of a cry. What the fuck?

It was all over so fast, I didn’t really know what to do or say. I cleaned myself up and sat in a bit of a daze. I decided I would come back to it again later, but this time, I will go straight in with the vibrations, so I could really get a sense of what it felt like. On the second try, I turned the vibrations on straight away, and slipped inside. Oh wow… the vibrations aren’t terribly strong, but they seemed to work there way through every piece of the texture, because I could literally feel them all around my shaft. I could feel every single ridge and nub. Squeezing the sides to create the vacuum enhances everything ten-fold.

It’s safe to say on the second attempt, it really didn’t take long at all to reach orgasm, but at least this time, I was certainly able to fully appreciate it. I couldn’t wait to try this out on the MR, to see what he thought. Cleaning the EV is simple, in the sense the device is waterproof, so you can slide off the battery and then rinse the actual body of the product under the tap. Like the Zero, you’ll want to pay attention to all the little nooks and crannies, because lube and fluids will seek their way into all of them, and just rinsing alone will not shift it all. You can rinse the slide arm as well, although personally, I prefer just using a damp cloth to wipe that over.

The charging base is NOT waterproof, so do not try to submerge that! If you want to give it a clean, then a barely damp cloth will be sufficient. As always, the elastomer is porous, so you’ll want to make sure it’s thoroughly dry before storage. Once i’ve rinsed it through, I like to take a lint-free cloth, and just run it through the texture to lift some of the excess moisture, and then I can place the slide arm upside down in the charging base, and rest the open body over it, to allow it to air dry. Once completely dry, you can assemble it and pop the lid of the case on, ready for next time.

Summary

OK, yes, today was a ‘long review’ and I know half of you probably just skip right down to the bottom, so I will try to be as concise as possible. Is the TENGA Flip Zero EV TBGR approved? YES, very much so. We thoroughly loved the original Zero, and the EV functions exactly the same. But the added dual vibration cores just take everything to another level, and when given the choice, the EV will be my preferred weapon of masturbation.

I  was a little anxious that I wouldn’t be able to justify the price of the EV. The original Zero retails for round £80… the EV is pretty much double the price at £190. That’s… yeah, it’s a steep increase. But when I look at how well made the EV is made, I can understand it. The charging base and case are solid storage items, the battery is a little feat of engineering, and honestly; the hours of pleasure the EV is going to give me… it’s totally worth it. Still, I would totally understand if you waited for a good sale to get one; but it *is* a luxury device, and in all honesty, if I was to stop reviewing toys, I would make the EV the only masturbator I used. I just think it’s that good.

The original PULSE was the first electronic masturbation aid that I tried, and completely fell in love with. Discovering how wonderful vibrations felt on my shaft is a moment I wish I could relive again and again.

The team behind the successful ‘Guybrator‘ are back with the 4th model, and this time, we’ve gone pocket-sized! The aptly named Pocket Pulse features all of the technology that made the original Pulse successful, but have crammed it into a unit that is less than half of the size of the original. But is smaller better? As soon as I saw the design of the PPR (Pocket Pulse Remote), I was intrigued. Would it still be able to deliver the same intense sensations the full size unit could?

I didn’t have too long to wait; before christmas, a slightly battered package arrived containing my PPR and I was eager to give it a try. Would it live up to my expectations? Is it a worthwhile investment over the full size Pulse units? All of these questions and more are about to be explored, so sit back; relax and get the kettle on… it’s time to check out the Pocket Pulse Remote!

First Impressions

Apart from the size, not much as really changed re: packaging for the PPR. It looks and feels exactly the same as the old packaging, just smaller. The box is bold and brassy, with product information printed around the sides, and a tattooed dude pictured on the lid. At this point, I wish Hot Octopuss would switch up the packaging; when this one arrived battered (at no fault of Hot Octopuss, by the way), it sort of made everything feel a little cheaper. I would love to see these packaged in some more sturdy boxes; enhance the overall luxury nature of the product. But that’s just a small aesthetic niggle of mine.

As for the actual product, it’s so adorable. It’s roughly the same shape as the original PULSE, just smaller. The biggest design change, is the addition of the ‘arm’ which curls around the device. This allows the PPR to ‘hold’ onto the shaft when it’s full erect, allowing for ‘hands-free’ play. The PPR features dual motors to deliver powerful vibrations. It’s waterproof, rechargeable and made from ABS plastic and silicone, making it completely body safe. It features 5 speeds, but not patterns this time round. The PPR needs around 3 hours to charge, and should give around an hour of play time.

In Use

So how does the PPR feel? Well, generally, pretty good. If you’ve used any of the previous models of the Pulse, you’ll kind of know what to expect. The sensations provided aren’t massively different compared to what has been before. What was better, was overall size and shape; the small compact size combined with the new ‘grip’ arm makes it so much easier to hold and use. This meant that I can now lube up and slide the PPR up and down my shaft with ease, something I haven’t really been able to do with the larger units.

The ‘arm’ that curves around, also allows for the vibrations to be felt all around the penis; when positioned correctly, the pulse plate is working on the frenulum, and that arm is resting on the coronal ridge on the glans, which is also just as sensitive as the frenulum. It feels incredible (at least, it does for me, but I really do dig vibrations on my penis, so that’s not surprising).

The PPR is able to draw out an orgasm from me with relative ease. You can use the PPR flaccid or erect; which has been the biggest selling point of these toys; they are great for those with ED or have limited mobility – It can induce an orgasm without an erection. However, unlike the previous versions, for me, it can take a little bit longer to reach orgasm. See, my only real problem with the PPR, actually comes down to it’s smaller size. Now, the vibrations inside the PPR are definitely on the strong side, and are comparable to the output of the original Pulse toys (perhaps maybe even just a tad stronger?) which on paper, sounds amazing.

But, what I noticed, was that all of that power in such a small unit, meant that my hands and wrists were getting a lot of vibrations too; and they were strong enough to make my hands go numb after prolonged use. Now, for some people, that might be a plus; because ultimately you can use the PPR for some long drawn out edging sessions; once things get too numb you can switch off, and just take a few moments before carrying on. But for me, sometimes I need the efficiency, and the PPR is not something I can use if I want a quick ‘Wham Bam, Thank You, Have a nice Day’ kind of moment. Again, that’s not necessarily a bad thing; but truth be told, I am a lazy masturbator, and I just want the job done so I can get on with other things. Is this a side effect of getting older? Who knows…

My other half also agreed that the PPR feels as good as the original, perhaps even slightly better because the vibrations are really focused on all the right spots, but he too found the excess vibrations buzzing through his hands a little off-putting. But ultimately, this is going to be a personal preference. Wand massagers also make my hands numb, but they get me off in mere seconds, so it’s not a huge issue here. But with the PPR, I do feel I need to work a little harder to combat that numbing feeling.

Like the Pulse II and III, the PPR comes in two versions. The Pocket Pulse and the Pocket Pulse Remote. The PP is exactly the same as the PPR; it just doesn’t have the remote. The PPR can be controlled using the buttons on the side, the remote just allows for slightly more adventurous play. You can place the PPR on the penis and just layback, and use the remote to increase/decrease speed; or you can hand the remote over to a partner, and let them control the vibrations.

Clean-up and Maintenance

The PPR is completely waterproof, so clean-up is as simple as giving it a thorough rinse with some warm water, and then drying it off. Inside the box, you do also get a little storage bag, which is enough to hold the PPR, the remote and the cable, allowing everything to stay together.

Summary

In some respects, I think I do prefer the PPR over the regular size Pulse toys. The ergonomic shape is far more comfortable to hold, easier to use and it’s smaller size allows those vibrations to work in all the right places. That, and the fact it’s waterproof, rechargeable and made from body-safe materials should make it a no-brainer.

My only real issue is with the vibration transfer through my hands during use. Whilst this was present in the older Pulse’s, I never really noticed it as much as I do here, and I am purely putting that down to the fact the PPR is extremely powerful, but much smaller. If numb hands isn’t an issue, than I definitely think that you will enjoy the PPR; even if you already own a regular Pulse unit; the PPR is refined, sturdy, powerful and further proves why the Pulse is one of the best electronic toys for the penis ever.

I have to admit, when I received the SenseMax SenseVibe from MEO to review, I was already expecting it to be a fail. Just a few months ago, we reviewed the SenseTube and it wasn’t a huge success. To be fair to SenseMax; it’s not that they had made a ‘bad’ product; I just really didn’t get on with it, but I know there are others who have really enjoyed it. But I hold my hand up and say I was expecting this one to not wow me either. And that’s bad; I know, i’m sorry. I’m only human.

But I am happy to report that not only did the SenseVibe completely exceed all of my expectations; it did it effortlessly and with smacks of class. I will gladly eat my hat (if I wore a hat). So let’s not waste any time, and just get straight onto why this toy has made me a very happy bunny…

First Impressions

Blah blah blah; cardboard box; all the bits inside etc etc etc. Look, the thing I really want to talk about is the SUPER COOL WIRELESS CHARGING DOCK/STORAGE CASE. OK, so the case still needs to be plugged in to charge the toy, but the actual toy itself charges wirelessly when you place it inside the case!! We are living in the future, people. Inductive charging has made it’s way into the bedroom; with sexy results! The geek inside me (oh who are we kidding? i’m just a geek!) is LIVING for the case. It’s sleek and inconspicuous (it kind of looks like an oversized glasses case). You could probably leave this on the side somewhere and no one would really look twice at it.

The actual toy itself is a g-spot style vibrator, but there was something in me that knew this was going to be amazing for prostate play. The SenseVibe is made from silicone, is waterproof, rechargeable and has dual motors for dual stimulation. It features your classic ‘curved’ shaft, that’s slightly more bulbous towards the tip, before slimming out to the base. At the base, it curves to create a prominent point (which is supposed to provide external stimulation to the clitoris) but in this case (hopefully); will provide some perineal stimulation.

The SenseVibe has an insertable length of 4.25 inches. At it’s widest point, it has a circumference of 4.25 inches, and at it’s narrowest, 3 inches. It features 8 modes of vibration with 18 speeds. A 6 hour wireless charge should provide up to 2.5 hours of playtime.

In Use

When this arrived (thanks, MEO!) my first reaction was ‘what are the vibrations like?’. I was honestly expecting them to be buzzy (I was envisioning similar to the Lux LX3+) and not at all exciting. When I turned it on, I let out a ‘WHOOP!’ of delight. Not only were the vibrations RUMBLY, but they were (almost) ROSA RUMBLY. In fact, the vibration patterns reminded me a LOT of the Rosa. And that’s how I knew, without even trying it, that I was going to love it.

But we still need to try these things out. So I set up the little charging dock, and placed the SenseVibe into it’s cradle to charge. And this is where I experienced my first (and thankfully only) problem. There is no indication that this thing is charging. No lights, nothing. I put it down, and just stared at it. What was I expecting to happen? I poked it. ‘Is it doing anything?’, I whispered to myself. ‘I don’t know’ I whispered back to myself. ‘Should be leave it? See what happens?’. ‘Yeah, OK; let’s go do something else…’. I wish I could say this is an exaggeration, but when i’m alone, I do have conversations with myself. You do it know, you know it. Don’t judge me.

After a few hours, I checked on it, and the SenseVibe and the dock were a little warm, so it must have been charging. I picked it up and turned it back on, just to see whether the vibes I felt earlier were as good as they were going to get. No, no they weren’t. When it’s fully charged, it’s a beast! I really do feel it has a very similar, if not the same motor as the Rosa. Oh my god, I am SO EXCITED! I needed it in me ASAP.

After clearing some of my schedule (I know, i’ve gotten so busy lately, what is up with that?); I stole myself away some time to have a play with a few toys. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depends on your way of thinking) I didn’t get very far. The SenseVibe basically said ‘HERE IS YOUR ORGASM, NOW GO’. OK, it wasn’t quite that fast, but it definitely happened a lot quicker than I was expecting, and it caught me off guard a little. But I kinda like that. Gotta keep me on my toes and all.

So with a liberal coating of Sliquid Sassy (look, I know I haven’t reviewed it, but trust me it’s a great anal lube), I got into position. I’ve taken to laying on my side when inserting anal toys. It just feels more comfortable for me that way. The SenseVibe slipped inside extremely easily, and it’s contoured shape felt comfortable. Once fully inserted, the little ‘hump’ basically nestle right against my perineum, and it’s quite pointy, so I can definitely feel it there. Now, much like with the Rosa, getting to the controls is a little fiddly, but you know, i’ve made my peace with that.

I turned the SenseVibe on and immediately I was feeling tingles. Much like the Rosa (and the Prostate Rabbit), the tip of the SenseVibe was comfortably probing my p-spot. I just lay there for a few moments, doing some kegels, allowing my sphincter to move and manipulate the SenseVibe. It was already feeling pretty good, but I needed to amp it up a little bit. So we cranked up the vibrations to full. At this point, I decided I would try ‘rocking’ on it. Now, I didn’t think this would work, as the base isn’t really designed for that, but I was determined to try (and I have a squishy bed).

It worked. It worked well. It only took a few minutes of rocking and clenching, before I started to feel the familiar sensation of an orgasm building. I could feel it everywhere. In my knees, in the pit of my stomach… it just built up and then… sweet release. I collapsed backwards, breathing heavily and with a moistened brow. It’s a good job I put a towel down…

Clean-up and Maintenance

The SenseVibe itself is completely waterproof, so clean-up is simple. Once you’ve finished cleaning it, you can pop it straight back in it’s case and then… leave it! I wouldn’t recommend leaving it plugged in, though. I’m considering leaving my SenseVibe in it’s case next to the bed, and then i’ll just plug it in as and when I need to charge it; but for the most part, it will just sit next to my bed, ready for the next session (as I definitely do not last 2.5 hrs) and it has a standby time of 100 days!

Summary

I LOVE THIS! But, and it’s a small but(t). If you already have something like the Rosa (or Prostate Rabbit) or anything similar… I don’t think the SenseVibe is really going to offer you anything new. At least, not in the way of sensation. The vibration patterns and speeds are very similar to the Rosa, and truthfully, if I didn’t know I was using the SenseVibe, I would have sworn blind it was the Rosa. But that doesn’t mean the SenseVibe isn’t an amazing toy, because I really do think it is. And I think I will probably end up using it a bit more as I LOVE the discreet charging case.

It retails for around £150 (although you might be able to find it cheaper), and to be fair, that’s kind of the price I would have expected a luxury vibrator like this to retail at. The Rosa was around £130 so… it is expensive, but if you don’t have a luxury toy like this and want something good and rumbly, then it’s definitely worth a look!

Shock, Horror. A JimmyJane toy that I don’t actually hate. What has happened? Why is the world upside down? But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves; I don’t hate it… but I don’t exactly love it either.

My previous experience with JimmyJane was an absolute disaster. And truthfully, it seems amongst most of the blogging community, JimmyJane (who are owned by Pipedream) have a bit of a reputation for producing products that are overpriced and under-powered. To be fair, the Ascend was a huge let down. I honestly thought there was potential but… no.

When I was trying to choose something to review for SheVibe; my eyes were instantly drawn to this rabbit vibrator. I’ve been a firm believer for a long time, that rabbit vibes don’t need to be marketed purely towards those who have a clitoris. The typical rabbit vibe has a basic shape that doesn’t look too unlike a prostate vibrator. And this one, the JimmyJane G-Rabbit Waterproof Flexible Vibrator definitely looked like it would work. So I added it to my request list, and just a week or so later, it arrived. So let’s not waste any more time…

First Impressions

The packaging for what is, I guess, supposed to be a luxury vibrator, is a bit.. meh. Flimsy cardboard box and an even flimsier plastic tray on the inside, holding the vibe. Still, it’s nice to see it’s not plastered with semi-naked models etc. It still maintains a little bit of class. The G-Rabbit is made from body-safe silicone, and is designed to be incredibly flexible (and squishy!). The shaft of the vibrator can move in almost any direction, allowing you to angle it in the right position for you. The ‘clitoral’ arm also has a degree of flex to it. The handle is rounded, making it surprisingly comfortable to hold, but does only have the one button of control.

It’s waterproof and offers up to 2 hours of playtime on a single charge. There are 10 modes of vibration; 3 constant speeds and then 7 patterns (that also alternate in speed). The silicone is very soft, and has a nice amount of silkiness; it doesn’t feel too draggy. It’s still a dust magnet, and there is a very noticeable seam (visually) running around the entire toy. It almost ruines the visual aesthethic of the toy, but as I can’t really ‘feel’ it; I can let it slide. I’m just being nitpicky now.

In Use

The G-Rabbit is powered by 2 ‘powerful’ Japanese motors; on in the tip of the shaft, and the other in the clitoral arm. Are they powerful? Well, too some extent, yes. They are certainly a little stronger than I was expecting them to be, especially after the weakness of the Ascend. But here, yeah; there’s an OK amount of power. But are they rumbly? Well, again… sort of. I certainly wouldn’t call the vibrations ‘buzzy’, but they are not really the rumbliest either. They sort of fall in the middle of the spectrum. But I have to admit, whilst the vibrations weren’t as strong as say… the Backdoor Rabbit; I thought they were comparable in power to the old G4 motors from Fun Factory. At least, that’s how it felt to me.

As for use, well, it was an absolute breeze. The shape of the shaft is very similar to my LELO Loki, so with a good coating of lubricant, the shaft of the G-Rabbit slips inside quite easily. The clitoral hump has a decent length on it as well, so when it’s pressed up against my perineum, it rests just below my testicles. Of course, as with all products like this, it is a little awkward trying to change the pattern, but it’s made easier (in some respects) by the fact there is only one button. The patterns are alright. They aren’t anything wonderful. Just your typical mixture of pulses and waves. I do always prefer the standard ‘constant’ settings. They just seem to work better for me.

The G-Rabbit was fairly comfortable as well; the flexible silicone meant I could move into almost any position, and it still felt pleasant, and the tip of the shaft never lost contact with my prostate. Did it give me the coveted prostate orgasm? Eh, not really. I definitely need something with a bit more ‘power’ and the G-Rabbit is just missing like, an extra speed or two. I reckon with just a bit more power, this actually would have hit the spot perfectly. But for me, it had me teetering on the edge for ages, but never quite pushed me over the brink. I definitely needed additional stimulation elsewhere to finally achieve orgasm.

Clean-up and Maintenance

The G-Rabbit is fully waterproof, so clean-up is as simple as rinsing with warm water and a good antibacterial soap (especially after anal use). Remember to thoroughly rinse and dry before storing away. Unfortunately, you don’t get a storage bag or anything with the G-Rabbit (which is a shame; they should come as standard, really). With that in mind, just be ready to give it a good rinse when you want to use it again, as it is very much a dust and pug hair magnet.

Summary

So I said at the beginning, I don’t actually hate it. I do think it’s a fairly decent vibrator with some decent power attached to it, and the flexible silicone makes for a comfortable experience. But I don’t love it either; I do wish the vibrations were a little rumblier, and had maybe like, an extra speed or something? The single button interface is both a blessing and a curse; It does mean a lot of cycling through patterns to find what you want, so I guess I should be grateful there were only 10?! I suppose, I could be using the G-Rabbit as a warm up, for the more exciting things (i’m looking at you SenseVibe). But as a stand alone toy, it just doesn’t quite offer me everything I need.

Lately, I always feel like i’m opening my blog posts with an apology… i’ve been so behind with getting reviews written and I am really sorry. I realise that sometimes things are beyond my control, and that’s cool… but this time, i’ve just been neglectful and there is no excuse. I’m sorry.

Now that awkwardness is out of the way, let’s get on and talk about the next review for the delightful people over at SheVibe. I just want to take a moment to really thank them. They took a chance on me as a relatively new blogger, and one from the other side of the pond as well; they have been so supportive and helpful. So thank you, Team SheVibe; keep being awesome!

Anyway… along with the JimmyJane G-Spot Rabbit, the other product I requested to review was the Aria Mi Vibe Rechargeable Bullet Kit by Blush Novelties. As you know, I firmly believe that sex toys do not need to be gendered; anyone can use a bullet, especially as there are so many ways they can be used; it doesn’t always have to be about achieving an orgasm. So when I saw this, I had several ideas in my head and I really wanted to put it to the test. So was this bullet really all that versatile? Well let’s read on and find out…

First Impressions

The Aria Mi Vibe is packaged simply and tastefully. Inside the box, you get: rechargeable bullet, a silicone sleeve and a magnetic USB cable. The bullet features 10 modes of vibration and boasts ‘deep rumbly vibrations’. It’s waterproof as well, allowing for easy clean-up and bath time fun. The silicone sleeve is made from ultra-sleek shiny silicone with a nice amount of flex to it. It features a ribbed tip with a slight curve, as well as a wide body with ‘curves’ which are supposed to ‘hug’ the vulva. It has a finger grip on one side to allow for ease of use.

The Aria Mi Vibe needs a 2 hour charge and this should give around 1 hour of play time. The magnetic charger fits comfortably and has a decent hold; I didn’t experience any problems with it just ‘dropping’ off. The bullet is operated by a single touch button on the base. The button is a little stiff and I did find it a little awkward to use (but more on that later). The first 5 settings are the ‘speeds’ and then the last 5 settings are the patterns; your typical pulses, waves and crescendos.

In Use

The bullet is your fairly standard size; it’s a bit smaller than say, the We-Vibe Tango but still has a good amount of weight to it. Operating the bullet is a little finicky; you do have to push quite firmly in order to switch it on and change the settings. It’s not the toughest thing, but if you are someone with limited dexterity, it might be something to just be aware of.

So, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the bullet. I see so many products that claim to have ‘deep rumbly vibrations’ or even just ‘powerful’ vibrations. And so many disappoint. When I switched on the Mi Vibe for the first time, I was shocked. On it’s lowest setting, it felt like the Tango on it’s lowest setting. It soon had my full attention. On it’s subsequent power settings, things took a slight turn. The power is definitely there. I was actually shocked at how strong this little bullet got. The only problem is past the first setting, the rumble is gone and is replaced by your typical ‘angry hornets nest’ kind of buzz. But it’s strong. The only thing I can compare it too, is the Palm Power. Not in terms of actual strength, but more a case of ‘power vs size’. I just wasn’t expecting something so powerful to be so… small.

For me, the buzz is just too much to use directly on my skin. Much like the Tango, it feels a little… abrasive. But that’s fine, as there is a little silicone sleeve you can insert the bullet into. This little curvy beauty has a rippled head which curves slightly, which leads to some wide curvy ‘hips’ with ridges. On the other side, is a little heart shaped appendage which you can slip your fingers into. Inserting the bullet is a little… rough. A little bit (and I mean, a little bit) of lube is recommended to make things easier here. Just be careful to not push the bullet in further than the little silver ring; otherwise it becomes VERY tricky to remove!

I was pleasantly surprised that the silicone sleeve did nothing to dampen the vibrations. They were still very much as powerful as they were. They just felt a little softer. Still buzzy, but a little softer… I was very keen to start rubbing this in places to see how it would feel. First, we tried frenulum stimulation. I discovered that the pinpoint tip was a little too much and actually over-stimulated me to the point where it felt too much. With a bucket load of lube, and an adjusted grip, I was able to hold the Mi Vibe under my shaft, so as I masturbated, it glided along the underneath, providing vibrations all throughout. It was a little clunky and required lots of patience and adjusting; but we got it to work and the orgasm was… OK. I felt I had to work a little too hard for that one.

Instead, I found that this bullet for me is a great foreplay device; so using it to tease my nipples, for example was very pleasurable (although we still have to keep it on a fairly low setting otherwise it’s too much for me). I also found that using the curved tip end to just tease my perineum and even my butt hole, ever so slightly, was incredible. So I guess it has led me to orgasm more times than I really give it credit for. And I suppose that does speak to the versatility of bullets. You can use them how you see fit; if it feels great (and is safe) then go for it! Just remember, this isn’t an ‘insertable’ toy, so don’t go putting it in places you shouldn’t!

Clean-up and Maintenance

The bullet and sleeve are completely waterproof, and i’ve found a rinse with some warm water and a little bit of soap is enough to keep these clean. Pat them dry with a soft towel and then pop them away, ready for their next adventure. The silicone sleeve is a little bit of a dust magnet (but let’s face it, what silicone ISN’T a dust magnet, really?). I love the fact this charges so quickly and an hour is definitely enough time for me. It’s also relatively quiet is well, if that’s something you need to consider.

Summary

I actually like this Mi Vibe more than I thought I would. I honestly thought I was going to hate this, but I somehow made it work for me, and I really do like it. I can tell you that there will be a few that will not get on with the buzziness; and for that, I would say stick with the Tango. But for me, once the silicone sleeve was on the bullet, the high-pitched vibrations became a little more palatable; and as I said, there were so many other places I could use the bullet to stimulate myself. So even if it was too intense to say, use on my penis, I could use it in other places and it would feel really good. It’s good to just explore, play around and see what works for you. Like a Wand vibrator, bullets can be an enhancement OR the main event; that’s entirely up to you. Personally, I think Blush are onto a winner here. Did I mention it’s also MUCH cheaper than the We-Vibe Tango… just putting that out there…

The geniuses at Fleshjack are back with a brand new product, that once again takes their popular masturbation product through a new and exciting iteration. And we’re very excited.

First it was the Fleshjack GO; exactly like a regular Fleshjack, but it was smaller and lighter. Then there was the QuickShot; now oral sex became even more interesting. And now, they’ve taken it another step – but how do you improve on perfection? Introducing the Fleshskins Grip – Fleshjacks first ‘Sleeve Only’ toy. Now I have to be real, when I first saw it, I was like… ‘eh, it’s cute I guess…’. But once it was in my hands and on my cock… well… that’s what you’re here to find out… so let’s get on with it, shall we?

First Impressions

The outer packaging is your standard Fleshjack affair. It’s what’s inside that counts. The Fleshskins Grip is housed in a solid plastic container, which doubles as a drying rack (more on that later). The sleeve inside is made from the same stretchy material as found in most Fleshjacks (perhaps a little stretchier and softer; but this could only feel like that because of it’s size). The sleeve is a gorgeous ice blue colour and completely see through (again, more on that later *wink wink*). The internal texture consists of a series of ribs, bumps and nodules (so far, so standard).

The sleeve also has built in finger holes, allowing you to really maintain a good grip on the sleeve as you are using it (lord knows i’ve lost count of the amount of times a small sleeve has just popped out of my lubed up fingers!). The only downside i’ve seen so far, is the sleeve is VERY sticky. Now, I expect this because if this was powdered like the other Fleshjack products, it would lose it’s transparency; but it is still *super* sticky. I wouldn’t be able to drop this on the floor in this house (damn pug hairs). Which is why I a thankful for the over-sized storage case/drying rack. The Fleshskins Grip is only available in the one colour/texture at the moment and retails for €33.95 (£29 approx).

In Use

So is it any good? Well, in a short word… YES. I officially LOVE this sleeve. It doesn’t offer any ‘revolutionary’ in the way of function or design… but it does feel bloody incredible! So many things that I love about this toy. So let’s quickly touch on what I love.

Firstly, the finger grips… this really should be a design feature on ALL case-less masturbation sleeves. I know Fleshjack isn’t the first company to offer something like this, but it is the first I have tried and DAMN; I firmly believe this needs to be a standard design feature. Now i’m sure not everyone is as careless as I am with lube, but sometimes it does get everywhere. and it can be tricky holding onto the little buggers. Not here! Even my giant sausage fingers can fit through the finger holes on the Fleshskins Grip and it still feels comfortable. There is no chance of this suddenly popping out of my hands and landing with a ‘splat’ on my bedroom floor. Hooray!

Speaking of case-less; this is also a delightful change of direction. Don’t get me wrong, I personally love my regular Fleshjacks with the hard cases… but I appreciate that there are plenty of people that don’t like them; either because they are too big and bulky, or they aren’t suitable for the more girthier penis. Well gone is that problem. The sleeve is no longer bound by it’s plastic prison, and can therefore expand to accommodate a penis of almost any size! Like, I say almost because I don’t have a whopping 12 inch penis to test with this, but the material does have a GOOD amount of stretch so.. you know, I want to say it’s possible?

Because of the lack of case, it means you can really control the tightness and intensity of your strokes. I am more aware of the texture inside, and it really does just feel so… nice! Honestly, this is probably the easiest wank session ever. And of course… the see through aspect is a HUGE plus for both me and the husband. We love watching each other get off, and having that added aspect of being able to see each others cocks thrusting through the sleeve, occasionally poking out of the hole in the top is just such a visual turn on for the both of us. I really am having trouble finding anything to hate about this product.

When using it by myself, it feels comfortable and it really doesn’t take me too long to reach orgasm. But what I really like is using it on him; when his glans pops out of the top, I can tease it with my tongue – and the finger grips make it so much easier to hold. Sometimes, it’s the most simple ideas that work the best; this isn’t an overly complicated product. It just works, and it works damn well.

Clean-up and Maintenance

As with all Fleshjack sleeves, you’ll want to give this a thorough clean. Fleshjack do recommend just rinsing thoroughly with warm water. I do like to get my fingers in there and work it through every nook and cranny to ensure all lube and bodily fluids have gone. When it comes to drying, the storage case acts as a drying stand. The base has a huge ventilation hole, allowing you to place it on the stand and let it air dry thoroughly. This allows for quicker drying time. Once it’s dry, you can then pop the lid on and then store it away.

Of course, once you have cleaned it, the sleeve will be very tacky and sticky. You could put some renewal powder onto the sleeve, if you wanted to get rid of the stickiness, but naturally it will ‘cloud’ the sleeve; so a good rinse before you next use it would be advisable if you did want to go down this route.

Summary

Well what can I say? The Fleshskins Grip is a great little toy! It packs in all the things that I love about Fleshjack into a smaller, more flexible and easier to dry little package that’s under £30. The lack of case means that it can be used by almost any penis, and the texture inside is definitely far more enjoyable than just your hand. And I don’t know, I guess that’s why I like this. It’s like my hand, only better. It’s not complicated, or trying to do too many things at once. It’s just a wank sleeve and it feels good.

I hope in the future, that we might get some more colours and textures, but for now, this one will do and it will most certainly be coming out for a spin fairly regularly. In fact, I need to take a break now so…
